Prosecutor asks for 24 years in prison for Summa owner Magomedov
MOSCOW, Oct 19 (PRIME) -- The prosecutor has asked to sentence Ziyavudin Magomedov, the owner of Russia’s Summa Group, accused of 11 billion ruble embezzlement to 24 years in a strict regime colony on Wednesday.
Additionally, the prosecutor asked to fine Magomedov 1.5 million rubles.
The prosecutor also asked for 21 years in prison and a 1.5 million rubles fine for Ziyavudin’s brother ex-senator Magomed Magomedov.
The Magomedov brothers were arrested under an embezzlement case in March 2018. The arrest has been prolonged several times since then.
